Incident Command Systems and Disaster Management Level 1 & 2
St John offers both structured and focused short-term, result-oriented trainings on Incident Command Systems (ICS) and Disaster Management to enhance response coordination during emergencies.
The ICS training provides foundational Knowledge and skills for managing complex incidents with mass casualties, coordinating of multiple stakeholders and effectively responding to disasters. Key topics include incident mapping and response planning, developing an ICS structure, communication, information gathering and processing, resource management and conducting pre-incident drills.

Community-Based Disaster preparedness and management training
The Community Based Disaster Preparedness and Management training covers; Hazard, Risk, Vulnerability and Capacity Mapping. components of disaster management cycle, Sphere standards for humanitarian responses, risk mitigation strategies for organisers of mass gatherings.
Emergency rescues and Mass Casualty Evacuation.
St John Uganda provides complementary services for rescues operations and Mass casualties evacuations during incidents such as Epidemics, Floods and Landslides, large Religious, Cultural and Entertainment events, Sports activities, Government, public and Political gatherings.

Occupational Health, and Safety and Environmental training (OHSE)
Our Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training is designed for workplace safety officers in various industries including;
Construction, Production and Manufacturing, Commerce, Office, Agriculture, Aviation, Fuel and Gas, Transport, Forestry Laboratory and Medical works. They cover workplace Hazard, Risk, Vulnerability and Capacity mapping. Formulation of Safety Policies, Hazard Control Mechanism. Ergonomics, Identification and prevention of Occupational Injuries and illnesses. Roles and Responsibilities of safety representatives. Functions of the safety committees and stipulations of the International Occupational Safety Conventions and National laws.

Fire safety and Fire Fighting Training
The program focuses on fire hazard, risk mapping, and emergency response. It includes; Fire Prevention and suppression techniques, Safe evacuation procedures and Fire risk audits and assessments.
Basic Fire Fighting course provides essential fire safety awareness for workplace environments covering; Fire prevention measures, proper use of firefighting equipment, safe and effective fire extinguishing techniques.
